What’s the youngest age of your participants? 13 or do you go slightly into the pre-teen years?
Thanks,
Stacey

WriteGirl is aimed at girls 13-18 years old, so usually our youngest mentees are starting the 8th grade. While this is the age group of girls we work with, WriteGirl supports the writing and empowerment of all girls and women – of any age! Perhaps this blog can be a community for all of us. Thanks, Stacey!

Hello, my name is Jenna, I just have to say, I absolutely love what you are doing here!
I don’t know how else to say this, but I would love to be involved with what you are doing, if you have use for me.
I am 25. I currently teach Pilates, but I am on a journey to find myself, the writer, I’ve written mostly poetry over the years, but I am interested in one day writing novels. I do want to, eventually, write a book geared toward girls around the age of 16 to 20 regarding their sexuality and how to convey themselves as young ladies, and not be misunderstood by the way they dress or talk.
Anyway, I’m working on my own confidence as a writer, and was originally seeking creative writing classes for myself. This is how I discovered your site.
I’d love to help, even if I could blog about certain topics,
Let me know if there is someway I could contribute. EIther way, just so happy with what you’re doing here. Take care, and sorry to type your ear off!!
Sincerely,
Jenna.
